PUNCH Group’s vision for energy transition at VTM 2022

PUNCH Group’s vision for energy transition at VTM 2022

One of the key-questions of the millennium is about the management of the energy transition. The United Nations, among the sustainable development goals for 2030, identify the promotion of “actions, at every level, to combat climate change and its impacts” as an imminent priority. Most of companies, not only manufacturing ones, are therefore reconsidering their industrial strategy, in order to comply with the laws enacting by several international and national institutions in favour of this goal, by identifying the most suitable technologies to achieve the transition in an economic and industrial sustainable way.

During the first day of the VTM, in the session “General Trends in Automotive & Vehicle Innovation“, Pierpaolo Antonioli, CTO PUNCH Group, will provide the example of how the PUNCH Group is managing the ecological transition through investments in several zero-emission technologies, based on the principle of technological neutrality, to safeguard both the environment and the industrial chain.

Antonioli has stated: “The energy transition represents a challenge, and also a great chance, for those of us part of the manufacturing base. As this challenging process requires major changes, companies must necessarily work together to achieve this ambitious target, focusing on research, innovation and technology transfer.

Also on March 30th 2022, at 3:40pm at the Duomo Hall, during the workshop “Managing the transition, the experience of PUNCH Group“, the company will explain the technological developments which is carrying out as part of its industrial plan.

PUNCH Group has invited SASA (Bolzano transport company investing in hydrogen buses) and Protocube Reply (digitization and advanced technologies) to the workshop because the Group believes in dialogue and collaboration between companies to achieve the goal of ecological transition.
